We have heard you: Application is being extended

Our application phase was going to end today at midnight, BUT: Feedback from TEDx fans has showed that we need to make some small adjustments to the schedule.

Quite a lot of you have been getting back to us in the past few days as the end of application phase for TEDxZurich 2013 has been approaching. Although we started shortly before the public school holidays, many said they have already been away or finishing up loads of work before leaving for vacation and missed the opportunity to apply.

The earlier application phase this year has been a result of the earlier date compared to 2012. But based on your feedback, we have been discussing and found a way to speed up things a bit when reviewing the applications.

That’s why, in order for everybody to have a chance to apply and be admitted for a seat, we extend our application phase for this year’s conference by two weeks, until August 12 at noon.

We are confident that we will be able to fairly stay within our schedule otherwise. You will be notified about your admission by the end of August at the latest.

So if you have been running out of time, relax! Have a coffee sometime these days and take your time to fill in the form – we are looking forward to hearing from everyone of you wanting to contribute. Also, stay tuned for more awesome speaker releases coming up, such as Gerd Gigerenzer, director at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development and director of the Harding Center for Risk Literacy in Berlin. More information about his talk on the TEDxZurich stage is going to follow soon.
