TEDxZurich Live: TED2013 livestreaming at HUB Zürich

We are bringing the annual TED Conference experience live to HUB Zurich. Join in this gathering of TED fans to watch the latest ideas worth spreading as you share and discover the unexpected connections, extraordinary insights, and powerful inspiration the TED community is famous for.

With access to a live conference webstream as it happens, you are invited to watch the minute-by-minute excitement of the entire TED conference, including talks that are exclusively presented onsite and may not go online. Here’s the details:

19:15 – Break: TEDxZurich team member Hugo Schotman connects live from Long Beach

23:15 – Session 6: Create!

02:00 – Session 7: Sustain!
03:45 – End of event – the bigger of a TEDster, the longer you stay!

Food
Bring your own (there is a small kitchen) or use one of the breaks to go out and grab something in the many nearby restaurants! Only small snacks like chips and peanuts will be provided onsite.

Cost
Attendance is free, but you must register via eventbrite.com in order to participate. The available space is limited to a total of 80 people.

Sarah Ebling

          Sarah Ebling holds a professorship in Accessibility Studies at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and is a senior researcher at the University of Zurich. Her research focuses on natural language processing in the context of disabilities and special needs, specifically, sign language technology and automatic text simplification. Her groups’ contributions involve artificial intelligence techniques with a strong emphasis on user involvement. She is involved in various international and national projects and leads a large-scale Swiss innovation initiative entitled „Inclusive Information and Communication Technologies“ (2022-2026; https://www.iict.uzh.ch/).
