Sponsors become partners, partners become friends and fans

From sponsors to partners to friends and fans: this is the normal evolution path of the organizations that enable us to run the TEDxZurich events. Everything we make you see, hear and experience would not be possible without them.

Some of our partners start “only” as sponsors first, some have been with us for a couple of years, most of them are generous and give us money. Some overachieve and make sure we get the best coffee at a conference EVER, some allow us to use their infrastructure and there’s much more to it than meets the eye at first sight.

Without them… well we wouldn’t have a location, there wouldn’t be any food, no speakers, no tech, no WiFi, NO COFFEE! – pretty much nothing at all. So it’s not more than fair to mention and thank them already here and now; these are our partners for TEDxZurich 2013 [in strictly alphabetical order]:

Oh and by the way… fans! One of my very first learnings when I started to find partners for TEDxZurich was that you need a TEDx fan in the organization you’re talking to. No fan; no chance.

Fans are partners who say that they don’t want to do marketing at the event, they support us simply because TEDx matters to them. That feedback really made my day; thank you Sandro Bertschinger!
